Jason Davis – Partner
Jason Davis is a Partner of MDP and responsible for capital formation, strategic relationships, business development and public relations. Mr. Davis has over 14 years experience in the finance industry, starting as a Principal of Capital Funding Resources where his focus was on asset-based lines of credit, letter of credit facilities, factoring and brokering cash-flow notes. Further, Mr. Davis became a Branch Manager of several different mortgage lending companies so he could offer commercial and residential financing to his customer base; since then, Mr. Davis has originated and closed more than $800 million in transactions. Mr. Davis was a Branch Manager for NovaStar Home Mortgage and was honored as one of the top 5% most profitable branches 2002, 2003 and 2004.
John Pollock – Partner
John Pollock is a partner of MDP Capital and responsible for the company’s underwriting strategy, loan servicing and strategic relationships. Mr. Pollock has over 10 years experience in the finance industry, starting in collections where he worked with individual debtors to analyze financials and determine a reasonable budget to pay indebtedness. Mr. Pollock then became a consultant for various mortgage companies to analyze their processing and underwriting processes for efficiency and proper risk assessment. He has served as the Operations Manager for the largest NovaStar Home Mortgage branch in the Midwest.
